With the Annual Inter-House Athletics Carnival fast approaching (Thursday 26 June), it’s time to hit the training paddock. As of week 7, the school has begun fitness group training sessions with a focus on athletics. These sessions are held every Monday afternoon (3pm) and Friday morning (8am), meeting at the school oval. All track and field events are on offer, with students having access to the individual and group training they choose or require. Even if students want to learn a new event or even simply enjoy improving their fitness with a group of friends, these sessions are perfect. Students don’t have to be star athletes to participate or have aspirations of winning athletics age champion; they just have to be ready to ‘have a go’. See you out on the training field!
