The Parents and Citizens (P&C) Association is a volunteer committee that represents the community surrounding the school. This includes families and community members who have an interest in supporting the school’s staff to offer the best learning environment possible for our students.
The P&C actively promotes the welfare of students and the development of education within the school. It’s important that all points of view are considered when decisions effecting students are being made; this is where the P&C works in partnership with the school.
The P&C meets at 6.00 pm in the school Resource Centre on the second Tuesday of every month, except December, April and January. All members of the school community are very welcome to attend. Discussions are informal and meetings usually last 90 minutes. We abide by the school values of Respect, Responsibility and Integrity at all times.
The P&C is responsible for managing the Canteen and Uniform Shop and employs staff to do this. We are very proud of the variety and quality of food served in the Canteen and the high level of service in both shops. Funds raised in both shops is invested back into the school and in recent years, P&C funds have provided donations to:
Sporting students representing the school at regional and state meetings.
Support for the Guidance offer to have food on offer to students in need.
School Leaders' blazers.
Assistance for Performing Arts students through the VSPA sub-committee.
School facilities that promote whole school involvement.
