Creative Industries Academy - Dance

The Dance Academy is an energetic, specialised pathway for talented students to successfully engage in Dance as performers and choreographers. The curriculum begins by exploring the components and functions of Dance and provides students with a solid foundation in both theoretical and practical aspects of dance. Students develop knowledge, skills and attitudes, essential for future success in a demanding and highly competitive industry that requires both working as part of a high functioning team and individual performer.

Students have the opportunity to pathway their studies:                 


Year 07                                  Foundation Dance Academy
Year 08                                  Intermediate Dance Academy
Year 09                                  Advanced Dance Academy                        
Year 10 S1                            Creative Industries Academy - Dance
Year 10 S2, 11 & 12            Dance - General

Students must apply to be enrolled in an Academy. An application package may be collected from Administration reception or a request sent via email: Administration

Entry requirements

Entrance by application and Audition
Fee Structure         

Years 7-9                 $200.00 (payable prior to timetabling)
Year 10 S1              $100.00 (payable prior to timetabling)
